History
Tiny Toon Adventures: "Night Ghoulery" is a 1 hour special that premiered in October of 1995 for Halloween. The special contained parodies of various Halloween movies, T.V. Shows, and stories. Many of these include "Twilight Zone: The Movie", "Casper", "Duel", "The Tell Tale Heart", "Night of the Living Dead", "Frankenstein" and the Abbot and Castello classic "Hold That Ghost".
Night Ghoulery only premiered once on T.V. and never premiered after that. However most fans of the series have been able to find the special. Sadly, the next TTA special, the Spring Break special, still remains one of the hardest to find on the internet.
Shorts
Each scene in the special consisted of a parody of a Halloween classic. The opening of the special started off with a parody of Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas" in which it shows a caricature of Jack Skellington was singing a parody of one of the songs from the movie.
The rest of the scene showed the cast in costumes of characters from different movies as well as a reference to Warner Bros' popular spin off "Animaniacs".
The rest included:
"The Tell-Tale Vacuum" - A parody of the classic short story "The Tell-Tale Heart" written by American writer, Edgar Allan Poe.
"Sneezer The Sneezy Ghost" - A parody of Casper as well as the theme song.
"The Devil Dog of the Moors" - This is the only short in the special that didn't parody a movie. This was an original story in which the character Babs Bunny is told a ghost story of an evil spirit named "The Devil Dog" which happens to be a normal dog.
"Gremlin on a Wing" - A parody of the Twilight Zone skit "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet"
"Fuel" - A parody of one of Steven Spielberg's first films "Duel". This short wasn't really a parody of a Halloween movie but more of a movie parody instead.
"Hold That Duck" - A parody of the Abbot and Castello film, "Hold That Ghost"
"Night of the Living Dull" - A parody of the film "Night of the Living Dead" in which Gogo and the Wackyland gang are terrorized by a Tiny Toons fanboy and a bunch of investors
"The Devil and Daniel Webfoot" - A Parody of the story, "The Devil and Daniel Webber"
"Frankenmyra" - A Parody of the all-time horror classic "Frankenstein".
