[edit] 'Major' Achievements?

I would hardly call 71st in Paris-Corrèze a major achievement. Surely the whole point is to only list his best results, not every single result of his? --SportingNonsense 19:10, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

I think it should be kept to the top five or top ten results qualifying as the best results and for that reason I think the Giro results, the Tour du Finistère, the Route Adélie de Vitré, the Brabantsje Pjil / Fleche Brabanconne, the Tour de l'Ain, the Circuit de la Sarthe and the Paris-Corrèze results should be removed. Wikipedia is not a cycling results database. The significance of the him riding his first grand tour could be mentioned in the article with a reference.--Dawesaudax 08:30, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] FRENCH

he renounced his Irish passport and is now French... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.101.201.218 (talk) 14:59, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

I've covered this issue now in the biography. Originally Roche reluctantly renounced his passport in March 2005 after being told incorrectly that he could not race with dual citizenship but several months later in October 2005 he was able to reverse that.--Dawesaudax 08:24, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
