Nick Gillespie was the editor in chief of Reason magazine from 2000-2007 when he was succeeded by Matt Welch and is currently the editor of Reason.tv . [1] He has written articles or been a commentator for many media outlets. Gillespie is known for frequently appearing in his trademark leather jacket.
Gillespie's educational portfolio includes a B.A. in English and Psychology from Rutgers University and a M.A. in English from Temple University, as well as a Ph.D. in English literature from the State University of New York at Buffalo.[2] He has two sons, Jack and Neal.[3].
