This map depicts rebel FDN bases and operational areas, and is intended for use with the Nicaraguan Democratic Force article, and potentially other articles related to the contra war. (It will replace a PNG version of this graphic that I uploaded, which was much larger in filesize.) It is a derivative work of the CIA's 1985 relief map of Nicaragua, which is in the public domain as a product of the US federal government, as scanned and made available through the Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection of the University of Texas at Austin's site: http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/americas/nicaragua_rel85.jpg
