I've been inactive lately. I've been on what's turned into a wikibreak, recharging my wikibatteries. I've also found my attention drawn away from Wikipedia by current events like the US election. I hope to return, to both article writing and metadiscussion, because I'm concerned about the direction Wikipedia is headed.

I edit subjects like military history, wargaming, and science fiction. A major focus is articles on Nicaragua and Central America during the civil wars of the 1980s. If you're wondering if you can trust Wikipedia's articles on the Central American crisis, no! They're full of POV and misinformation. I'm doing my best to improve them, but I can't fix everything right away.
