Most of this is directly (or nearly directly) quoted from the bio in Fantastic Beasts. Shouldn't more of it be paraphrased if the source isn't cited? neatnate 06:28, 13 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Can we get ride of the HP Character template since we only have one piece of information on it? I know it is used to make all the character pages consistent, but it looks ridiculous on this page. Kam Tonnes 19:44, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
I decided to be bold and merge this whole page (excepting the HP character template) into Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. It seemed too short a page to be on its own, and I didn't expect that we will learn any more about good old Newt. And I followed Neatnate's suggestion to paraphrase the information a bit more. It really was too close to the "About the Author" section of the book. Kam Tonnes 02:35, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
