The NY Philharmonic's performance in North Korea will be available as a streamed Web cast at http://www.pbs.org/wnet/gperf/shows/nyphil/index.html Bike0404 (talk) 01:28, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

There are more than 2 orchestras older than NY Phil in Europe. Only in German speaking countries I can remember the following: the Staatskapelle Berlin, Vienna Philharmonic, Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden and Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra.

The Vienna Philharmonic and the NY Phil were founded in the same year.Markhh (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 04:35, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
