The New Nottingham Forest Stadium is a proposed football stadium which would be built in the Clifton area of Nottingham and will replace the City Ground as the home stadium of Nottingham Forest Football Club. The project was announced on June 20, 2007 with a planned opening date of 2014. The stadium is intended to have a capacity of between 45,000 and 50,000 spectators. A poll among Forest fans founds that the majority were in favour of new ground being named the Brian Clough Arena.
