Neil Shapiro is the owner of eFriends and was the operator of the forums of CompuServe related to what today are known as Apple Inc. and the Macintosh computer. Shapiro began as a beta tester of MicroNet from which the MicroNet Apple Users Group (MAUG) and later Micronetworked Apple Users Group got their names.[1]
