Nehro Hall of Residence is located in a corner of the PAN loop of IIT Kharagpur, and is one of the farthest halls of residence from the KGP academic campus. It is named after Jawahar Lal Nehru. The hall houses approximately 300 residents. Founded in 1954, it is the second oldest hall of the campus.
Nehru Hall's motto is Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye. The slogan of the Hall is "Once a Nehruite, always a Nehruite".
The hall is also known for being discussed in the Parliament of India for the opium that grew in its backyard.
