The National Basketball Association's Most Improved Player Award is an annual award given since the 1985-86 NBA season, to player who has made the most noticeable improvement from the previous season or seasons. In 2007 Kevin Martin and Monta Ellis were the closest in voting in award history, with Martin losing the award by three votes.[1]
