In certain parliamentary democracies, parties present lists of candidates to the parliament. In the list, party members are ordered, so if the party gets (for example) 40 seats after an election, the first 40 names on the list become MPs. See Party_List. --Lidless Eye 03:32, Sep 11, 2004 (UTC)

That the Arab States created the refugees is a debated point. It has also been argued that many Palestinian refugees were forced from their homes in the 1948 war. (JR)
