Shamrock and Paddywhackery

Could articles relating to Ireland use the harp (as on Irish Euro coins and Irish passports etc.)? The shamrock has lost all of its original religious connotations and is now more associated with American "paddy whackery" and the consumption of large quantities of alcohol.--PeadarMaguidhir 09:49, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
