he's either born 1970 or 1969

I've checked several sources, and they all report 1969 as his birth year. --lightdarkness (talk) 05:57, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

IMDb list him as being born in Long Beach, California. So do Yahoo and MTV]. Wikipedia says Clarksdale, Mississippi. I assume Wikipedia is wrong, so I changed it. In case anyone has info that Wikipedia is right, change it again but please add a source :) -- Sander 10:07, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

OK, here is the list of albums Yahoo currently holds with my clarification of each included in square brackets:

  • Ghetto Preacher — [Official album: Repackaged version of G-Funk Classics Vol. 1]
  • The Prodigal Son — [Official album: Repackaged version of G-Funk Classics Vol. 2]
  • "Regulate" — [Single]
  • G-Funk Classics, Vol. 1 & 2 — [Official album: The first widely available Nate Dogg album]

Guest appearances are the essence of Nate Dogg. He had no successful albums (and some of them are of the same tracklist as you can see above in the discussion) but had very successful cameos. And allmusic.com is really a bad source for this. BTW this is the only complete list of songs I found on the internet. Lajbi Holla @ me 10:20, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
Is there some way you can verify that? WP:V is a non negotiable requirement of Wikipedia, so if you could find some unbiased, reliable, third party sources stating that, it could remain. Otherwise, per Wikipedia rules, any editor can remove material that is unsourced. I realize allmusic is not a good source for Nate Dogg, but at least it is something. And the fact that he is credited with contributing to over sixty chart singles is certainly significant.[4] But the undocumented stuff detracts from his importance for the general reader, and Wikipedia articles are supposed to be for the general reader. Instead the article tends to look like a POV fanzine site rather than an encyclopedia article. Mattisse(talk) 13:01, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
