Natalis of Ulster

Natalis (sometimes called Naal) of Ulster was an Irish monk and saint of the sixth century. Spiritual student of Columba, he founded monasteries throughout northern Ireland, serving as an abbott at Naile, Daunhinis, and Cill. A well in his memory still exists in the area.

Natalis' feast day is January 27.
