Matsuda Naoki (松田 直樹; born March 14, 1977 in Kiryū, Gunma, Japan) is a Japanese football player who currently plays for Yokohama F Marinos, with whom he signed after high school in 1995. Matsuda has a reputation as a hardman on the field, an image bolstered when he shaved his head. However, it is said his young son was scared when he saw his dad's shaved head so Matsuda re-grew his hair. This hasn't stopped him being something of a firebrand on the pitch, though. He is a fans favourite and a tireless worker who often appears up front near the end of games when the F-Marinos are behind. His favourite band is Oasis.
