Aria Jasuru Hasegawa (Japanese: 長谷川 アーリア ジャスール, Persian: آریا جسورو هاسگاوا, born October 29, 1988 in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan) is an Iranian-Japanese football player from Saitama, Saitama who is the son of an Iranian father and a Japanese mother.
Aria attended Tsurugashima Daiichi Elementary school, Tsurugashima Junior High school and Yokohama Soei High school before being picked by the Yokohama F. Marinos of the J-League. According to his club he is a midfielder who creates crucial chances from his accurate passes and skillfull dribble.[1]
He is a member of the U-20 Japan national football team but failed to join the U-20 Japan squad to compete in the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada due to an injury. Hasegawa is listed as 6'1" (186 cm) and 154 pounds (70 kg).[2]
