Nancy Jane Boettger is the Iowa State Senator from the 29th District. She has served in the Iowa Senate since 1994. She received her BS from Iowa State University and her BA from Buena Vista College.

Boettger currently serves on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Agriculture committee; the Appropriations committee; the Education committee; and the Human Resources committee. She also serves as the ranking member of the Education Appropriations Subcommittee.

Boettger was re-elected in 2006 with 14,474 votes, running unopposed. [1]
