- Uh-huh. Well okay then. ;-) CWii(Talk|Contribs) 01:56, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- I suggest that you remove this entry. Basically the thing says in Tagalog. (heading)Son of a whore!(heading), stop interfering (profanity) (profanity). Stop reverting my changes! meddler. FUCK YOU! (Tagalog romanization). I hope I don't incur an WP:NPA violation. I'm merely informing you what this personal attack means--Lenticel (talk) 12:49, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your vote in the 2008 Wikimedia Board Election
Hey there. I'm a member of the 2008 Board Election Committee. Unfortunately, due to some technical problems at the start of the election, the ballot that you submitted is invalid. Could you please visit Special:Boardvote and vote again? Your prior (invalid) ballot will be automatically replaced with your new one. Thanks for your patience. - Mark 07:14, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Your deletion of Michael Ritchie
There was a page history before the advertising. I think the disambiguation page should be restored. PrimeHunter (talk) 23:08, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Remember my question?
Back in April here to jog your hard working memory, i know your extremely busy on here. Well, looking at the list of Wikipedians by edits reveals that 175,884 registered people inc. bots edited Wikipedia in that month (until 23 May). Given there are more than 7 million registered users on here, i guess its a small Wikipedia world after all:) Take Care Roadrunnerz45 (talk 2 me) 10:30, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Cascading protection, Barack Obama
Is there a log or forum anywhere indicating a request, rationale and intended length of time for the cascading protection of the Barack Obama? It is impairing the editing of linked templates relating to the presidential articles. A little like an ant colony in amber. Multiple items frozen in time.
I see that the controllng pages are
- User:Nakon/p and
- User:East718/PTT
Thanks, Yellowdesk (talk) 13:39, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
- There was recent template vandalism which resulted in many articles related to Barack Obama to be vandalised. I'll go ahead and remove the protection as it appears that the article is under control for now. You'll have to contact User:East718 to get him to remove his protection as well. Nakon 15:48, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Many thanks.
Was there a noticeboard item as well?

[edit] user:Daynal
It would appear that the user Daynal has been deleted under the rubrics of 'normal housekeeping'. What becomes of the talk page associated with the user, and is deletion for normal housekeeping considered an automatic function?
--75.105.7.0 (talk) 06:59, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- If it is in the temporary category, it will eventually be deleted. Nakon 13:55, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Thank you! It would appear then to be open to reuse by others. Is this correct?--72.250.232.242 (talk) 21:04, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- Deleting a user page does not actually delete the user from the database. The user's contributions still exist and as a result the user account may not be reregistered. Nakon 21:50, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Thank you again! Then the invitation to open a new account "Log in or create an account to start the User:Daynal page" is not capable of being accepted? If true, then the objective of the user will have been accomplished. If not, other means will have to be explored. Any further thoughts?--75.104.136.41 (talk) 03:22, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Imposters
Just wanted to let you know you had 2 imposters (User:Nakon2 & User:Nakon3). Their accounts were created via SUL.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 06:18, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- These accounts were created by me. Thanks for noticing. Nakon 13:36, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Do not remove my name from the Wikimedia nomail list.
I don't have an account there, neither do many others. We were spammed through e-mail, and I'll be damned if I have to sign up for an account just to put my name on a Do-Not-Spam list. Half the edits there are from IPs that don't want to bother to sign up for the site. The spam email said nothing about having to jump through hoops just to get off the list. I do not want to have to check the stupid list every day to make sure it wasn't removed by you or someone else. Do not remove our names. SashaNein (talk) 12:50, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- With SUL, people can log in without registering. I removed the names because they could have been added by anyone. If you notice later, I readded everyone. Nakon 13:37, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
