Nakhon Ratchasima Metropolitan Area

The Nakhon Ratchasima Metropolitan Area (Thai: เขตนครนครราชสีมาและปริมณฑล) is the urban sprawl of the city of Nakhon Ratchasima. It covers whole of Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima district, parts of Kham Thale So district., and parts of Sung Noen district with 755.4 km² of land area and about 429,853 inhabitants.

The metropolitan area has an estimate registered population of 429,853, but an estimated real population are over 500,000. Nakhon Ratchasima Metropolitan Area has the population of 157,242 in the city and 205,459 in the suburbs. Kham Thale So has the population of 1,853 in the suburbs. Sung Noen has the population of 1,853 in the suburbs. The area covers parts of 3 districts in the province, namely Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima district (429,853), Sung Noen District (107,099), and Kham Thale So District (79,795).
