[edit] POV Removed

For POV consideration

  • while extending its welcoming influence to the edges of Phibsboro : Welcoming by who's standards ?
  • The club also has very strong affiliations with the many schools : Very Strong by who's standards?
  • The strong liaison between the club and schools offers all parents and children a vital and consistent engagement in healthy sporting and non-sporting activities. : Vitial ? (Gnevin 21:53, 19 January 2006 (UTC))

More POV Removed - Still needs work (Gnevin 13:43, 23 January 2006 (UTC))

Ok i know its not great but it's better than nothing (Gnevin 18:56, 26 March 2006 (UTC))

[edit] John Caffrey

I noticed that the Famous Players list links to some guy named John Caffrey, (some British army dude!!) Is this supposed to be a link to Paul Caffrey? If it is Paul Caffrey's brother then it may need to be changed to John Caffrey (GAA Player) (User:Frainc 17:56, 9th May 2006 (UTC))

[edit] Page Name

If the naming convention is to include the more complete form, the merit in which I can see, can we then use the correct word order in the Irish version? So for example, Na Fianna GAA or CLG Na Fianna would be correct, but Na Fianna CLG is not. To further support this, for example, the club website is clgnafianna.ie. The full club name can be verified in the club constitution which is also on the website i.e. Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Na Fianna. The general club naming convention should be updated accordingly, I believe.
