Na-Au-Say Township occupies the 6 mile square on the eastern edge of Kendall County, Illinois.
It is located at 41.590313 N, -88.312618 W. It has 88.525 square meters (34.1798 square miles) of land. Its population in the 2000 Census was 1,672. It has 568 housing units. Na-Au-Say Township carries a Native American name that supposedly means "headwaters of the AuSable," a reference to the creek that meanders through it.

The township is governed by an elected Town Board of a Supervisor and four Trustees. The Township also has an elected Assessor, Clerk, and Highway Commissioner and Supervisor.
