Speedy deletion of Allies in Power Rangers: Dino Thunder

A tag has been placed on Allies in Power Rangers: Dino Thunder requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. That article was not about real people you idiot!. Looks to me you haven't read the whole article stupid!. Mythdon (talk) 06:32, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Tense

Please try not to remove content when you are fixing the grammatical tense. Avoid using the past tense when discussing fictional topics, and change mentions of episodes at the beginning of sentences by using <ref>Name of Episode</ref>.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 08:04, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Okay, i will do that from now on. Mythdon (talk) 08:37, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

Seasons

The bulleted list at Super Sentai was the result of converting from a table that had all of the information listed there in it. Right now, the tabular format works better at Power Rangers, but we can work out a well written list to convert it into. The wording that you have used at the moment isn't exactly good, and uses sentence fragments.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 23:50, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

How was my wording not good. The wording i was using was the only wording i could think of. Also, i don't think tables works very good with Power Rangers since there is more that can be explained in a brief context before you click the seasons link for more information. Some shows listing seasons i think do work best in tables. But in this case it looks unencyclopedic. Mythdon (talk) 00:10, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
And I've reverted your edit at Geroge Bush as well. You didn't know he's leaving in '09? BoL 02:48, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

Criticism of The Jerry Springer Show

Sorry, but I have undone this split. Splitting out this section leaves the main page with serious WP:NPOV problems and is not needed on grounds of article length. In any case, when splitting out a section a good summary should replace it. Please discuss such radical actions on the article talk page first. BlueValour (talk) 01:51, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Templates

Please stay away from templates for a while. An infobox for franchises is really unnecessary and esoteric, and a template just for your user talk page is highly unnecessary. Please work on writing articles and not making them prettier or easier to navigate with templates.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 07:15, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Is User:Mythdon/talk pages break any policies or guidelines?. Mythdon (talk) 07:22, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
No, because it is in your user space as a subpage. Subpages can be made with a slash anywhere but the article space where slashes can be part of titles. Going to /Sandbox will let you work on your own code and whatnot. My suggestion is because there is no need to make infoboxes just for the sake of having infoboxes. There are uses for them, and there are also times when one is not needed whatsoever.
Also, there is no way that the archive box will be kept at the bottom of the page due to how the editting software works. That is why most users simply have links or sideboxes instead of navboxes.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 07:25, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
I agree with the reason you changed the navbox i made from a template to a subpage as the navbox i made uses the exact purpose of a subpage and not in any way a template whatsoever. Mythdon (talk) 22:36, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Several months prior

I honestly don't remember, since this was two years ago. I just recall that I was editing with only my IP for some time (a few months at least, possibly more) before I finally registered this account. Arrowned (talk) 05:10, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Could that be fall of 2005 to March of 2006?. Mythdon (talk) 05:15, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
I don't think it was that long. Maybe two or three months at the most. But again, I don't recall exactly. Arrowned (talk) 06:13, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
Why not search your IP (if you remember) at the Special:Contributions page. Mythdon (talk) 05:00, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Infobox Move

I think you should just move the thing and change all the pages to reflect the new template name. You know, WP:BE BOLD and all. Serves me well, at least. If the usual template format would have an infobox for a character have "character" in the name, then move it, since you're obviously correct in your thinking on this matter. Just be exceedingly thorough, and make sure you change every last page. Howa0082 (talk) 15:11, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

You listed this in the wrong venue -- userspace should be taken to Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion instead. I've transferred the listing for you. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 02:42, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Centralized TV Episode Discussion

Over the past months, TV episodes have been redirected by (to name a couple) TTN, Eusebeus and others. No centralized discussion has taken place, so I'm asking everyone who has been involved in this issue to voice their opinions here in this centralized spot, be they pro or anti. Discussion is here [1]. Even if you have not, other opinions are needed because this issue is affecting all TV episodes in Wikipedia. --Maniwar (talk) 16:27, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

merge discussion

that means there is not decision to delete, and if ppl want to merge, they should hold a separate discussion on the talk pages, as appropriate. -- Y not be working? 19:22, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

It's pronounced My-Zoo, I think you spelled it My-Zu in that pronounciation, if I might ask, why do you ask? XD Myzou (talk) 05:28, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of List of The Steve Wilkos Show episodes

I have nominated List of The Steve Wilkos Show episodes, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of The Steve Wilkos Show episodes. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Episode number

I'm tired of doing this in that short little line.

We do not need to continually update an episode number in that infobox. That section is either for series that are over or series that are known to have a set amount of episodes. It is easier to just say "This series is ongoing" rather than working on updating that one number every episode airing. It also gets confusing when there are more episodes in a section rather than in that little number. Right now, we have five episode titles, but we're only saying that there are three episodes? That is why it is easier to say "Ongoing" rather than a definite number.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 05:57, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Are you crazy? There has to be some part in the article that specifically makes it clear about the current number of aired episodes. Mythdon (talk) 05:59, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
Where does it say that, if I may ask?—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 06:35, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
What do you mean?. Mythdon (talk) 06:42, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Sally Campbell

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article Sally Campbell, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
