My Life as a Teenage Robot is an Emmy-nominated American animated television series, produced by Frederator Studios for the Nickelodeon cable channel.

[edit] Plot Synopsis

The show stars a 5-year-old (16 since she was designed as a teenager) 6-foot (1.8 m) tall robot girl named XJ-9 (who prefers to be known simply as Jenny). Jenny lives in the fictional town of Tremorton, where she likes to go to the mall, fit in at high school, and hang out with her friends Brad and Tuck Carbunkle.

Her creator (a.k.a. "Mom"), Dr. Norene Wakeman, designed her as a highly sophisticated battle robot. Brad likes what Jenny does and often helps her out, but his brother, Tuck, doesn't care for action and only gets involved reluctantly.

At school, Jenny has an ongoing rivalry with the Krust Cousins Brit and Tiff, the popular girls in school, and puts up with Sheldon, a somewhat stereotypical geek who is completely obsessed with her. Adding to her trouble is that Jenny is constantly being dogged by the all-robotic Cluster Empire, whose queen, Vexus, wants her to join their world of robots (by force if necessary). Despite it all, however, Jenny still struggles to maintain some semblance of a mostly-human life.

The show often focuses on typical teenage problems and issues and on how to deal with them, as well as providing a blend of action and comedy sequences.
