Muyombe

Muyombe is a rural community town in Isoka east, Zambia, and it is the biggest settlement in the region. The Muyombe Chiefdom has one High School and several Basic and Primary Schools. The main economic stay of the area is farming.

Access to Muyombe is by gravel road from the district head quarters Isoka in the Northern Province as well as another gravel road from Eastern Province. The area is now being used as a transit route between Eastern Province and Nakonde, a border town with Tanzania through the Kanyala-Nakonde road. Muyombe is also a gateway to the famous Nyika Plateou National Park.
