Talk:Mustang Sally (song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I am fairly sure this is the most played song by rock/blues cover bands. But I have no statistics to prove this. I have never understood the ubiquitous nature of this song. Surely there are more interesting songs for rock/blues bar bands to play. It wouldl be interesting to discuss its popularity in the article if some concrete reasons for it could be provided.
[edit] "Mustang Sally's hedonistic approach to gasoline consumption and pollution"
I would have thought the lyrics were just a euphemism ("Ride, Sally, ride"; "Guess you better slow that Mustang down") for sex, hardly a reason for it to be banned from radio stations in this time of global warming ;) Rogerthat Talk 03:19, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] "Noodler?"
Noodler is not in my dictionary. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kermit2 (talk • contribs) 18:31, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
Well if Mustang Sally is about sex rather than cars and gasoline consumption why didn't he just say it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.186.179 (talk) 23:09, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
