Muri is a municipality in the district of Muri in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.
It was best known historically as the site of the former Benedictine Muri Abbey, which was dissolved in 1841 and re-located to what is now the Bolzano-Bozen. The monastery, its church, the convent building and the museum are listed as a heritage site of national significance.[1]
