[edit] TAS'ing
Mupen64 is currently the most widely used Nintendo64 TASing emulator used, due to the fact that it's open source and that there currently exists a version of the emulator with rerecording, frame advance, and other TASing tools. I don't feel qualified to add anything to this article, but if anyone else could add a paragraph about this, it seems particularly relevant to the article.
- I added a short sentence with an (hopefully) appropriate cite. --CCFreak2K (talk) 06:30, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
- Someone took the paragraph out. Oh well. --CCFreak2K (talk) 09:00, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] recent development
is someone going to add the fact that mupen64 and rice has recently been being developed and is up to version 1.2 with x64 support? i'm not sure how to add this to the article. (source: http://www.emutalk.net/forumdisplay.php?f=50) Bob A (talk) 23:56, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
nmn here, from the Mupen64Plus project. It probably belongs in another article, as it's a fork of the project, making it an entirely different development. However, I'm not exactly sure myself... 24.192.199.46 (talk) 17:34, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Mupen site version mismatch
This article says "Latest release 1.337 / February 10th 2008", but the Mupen site says 0.5, and the latest news is at 2005... someone needs to point out why these are different or something. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.173.174.222 (talk) 03:33, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Someone mistook Mupen64Plus for Mupen64. Nmn (talk) 20:45, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] The Pure Interpreter CPU emulator was a plain interpreter. It is slower and less __inefficient__ than the other cores.
Shouldn't that mean "less efficient"? RFC --Lazer erazer (talk) 12:08, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, my bad. Nmn (talk) 19:35, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
