[edit] Regions/Zones/Divisions/Counties/Municipio groups of Puerto Rico?

If Puerto Rico becomes a state in the United States, what would the official regions/zones/divisions/counties/"municipio groups" that group the 78 municipios? jlog3000 (talk) 18:42, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

It would probably remain the same. ~RayLast «Talk!» 20:15, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
In other words, there won't be any groups of municipios at all? jlog3000 (talk) 17:45, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
Are you talking about the name the regions will have? Or the way they are to be politically and economically organized and governed? All the states do not have to have the same municipal organization. Check the Hawaii article. You will see that it has a unique way of has organizing its municipal governments. I dont' think Puerto Rico is under any pressure to change its municipal government if it is ever to become a state. ~RayLast «Talk!» 20:53, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
