Moshe ben Shem-Tov de Leon was born and lived in Guadalajara weighs to his surname "of Leon". In the Middle Ages in Spain it was common to put of surname who was the father. "Ben", in Sephardi means "son of". Therefore it would be "Moshe, son of Shem-Tov of Leon"--84.76.44.209 (talk) 13:17, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
