[edit] Greetings

Greetings. Youre probably here because your an ex or current student, teacher or local resident. I have several archive sources Ive used to create the Monterey Secondary College article, as Ive done for the articles on Frankston North, Seaford and Carrum Downs.

Im not quite sure how to quote offline references so please give me a little time in the sandbox before everything's cited. Saying that, I expect a taggist to quickly tag the article with a "doesnt cite sources", so we'll see how we go.

Any additions to the article would be appreciated - particularly for the schools history as the former High and Tech schools - an important contribution and legacy to the current school.

Encise, I agree with comment re NR not attending MHS at the time. Should be left off trivia section.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Monterey Secondary College.jpg

Image:Monterey Secondary College.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:45, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for nothing Betacommandbot

I agree with many that the "fair use image" politics on WP are getting a little bit out of hand. Im sure that the use of the Monterey school logo will end up in the High Courts. Time to get bloody fairdinkum and put an end to the image Nazis...203.57.241.67 02:32, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Encise

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 10:25, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
