Monoptilon (desertstar) is a small genus of annuals in the aster family that are native to North America.
There are two species
- Monoptilon bellidiforme Torr. & A. Gray ex A. Gray (daisy desertstar)
- Monoptilon bellioides (A. Gray) H.M. Hall (Mojave desertstar)
