[edit] ERA

When Bart is wearing the "E.R.A NOW!" a good cultural reference would be what the shirt means. I'm not sure myself, or else I'd add it. JW 16:10, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

ERA refers to the Equal Rights Amendment. --Apple1976 (talk) 09:20, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tme to open the envelope

There's a great little segment in this episode, I'm sure it must be a cultural reference to something but I've no idea what.

It's at the beginning when Homer lies under the closing garage door and Bart says to Lisa "Tme to open the envelope I gave you" which she does to find a picture of Homer lying there and "This is what will happen".

So is that a Simpsons original, or an allusion to something else? If you know, please add it to the Cultural References section --Mortice 11:50, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
