Mitrius 19:47, 14 December 2005 (UTC)

Кстати, BI - это не конкурентная разведка, но может каким-то боком быть использована для этого.

Хм. А как по-английски конкурентная разведка?--Mitrius 19:47, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
Ага, нашёл. Competitive intelligence. --Mitrius 19:52, 14 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Request for edit summary

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. – Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 18:43, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Marshal's Star

Hello. Do you know if this star exist up to this day or it was abolished after the dissolution of the Soviet Union? (I saw it on Igor Sergeyev, former defense minister). thanks, Superzohar 13:47, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

There are two Marshal's Stars: the "little one", without diamonds between rays, and "large one", with five large diamonds between its rays. The former was between 1943 and 1997 an insignum of Generals of the Army, Admirals of the Fleet, Marshals and Chief Marshals of Aviation, Artillery, etc. It was abolished in Russia in 1997 (an not immediately after the USSR collapse). I think that the retired generals promoted before still can use it. I do not know whether it has any successors in other post-Soviet states including Ukraine or Kazakhstan where a rank of general of the Army is kept.

The latter, the "large" star, has belonged since 1940 to Marshals of the Soviet Union and since 1955 to the three AFSUs (Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union, which is one rank higher than simply AF), and it still technically exists in Russia. It is still an official insignium of the rank of Marshal of the Russian Federation, which was given to Sergeyev in November 1997. As Sergeyev died on November 10 this year, and no other Marshal of the RF has ever existed, the star can currently only be used by the four living Marshals of the SU. If any new Marshal of the RF is created he would have the "large" Marshal's Star. --Mitrius 14:25, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

I have edited the article Awards and decorations of the Russian Federation. tell me please if you know about more orders/medals that have been created since the breakup of the USSR and are not appearing in the article. thanksSuperzohar 15:51, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
