[edit] User:Kros209
This user page is written in HTML, it interferes with JS tools. Thedjatclubrock :) (T/C) 03:17, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Then don't use JS tools on it. The purpose of tools is to help with the maintanence of the encyclopedia, not the other way around. --Carnildo (talk) 06:28, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- It is not any more. As of now the content is The Game (rapper) transcluded in. --Bduke (talk) 08:36, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- This is a clarification question, not a !vote, but is there a specific formatting requirement for userpages? I know mainspace needs to be wikified, but do userspace pages? 69.210.45.157 (talk) 11:12, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

- The guidelines for userpages are cleverly hidden at Wikipedia:User page. Unlike articles (which have to be formatted properly for the readers), restrictions on userspace formatting are looser. There are limits, however.
- Keep for now. In its present form, the content isn't especially problematic, so long as it's temporary and not a long-term copy of an article (though transcluding that non-free image is questionable). If it stays this way, it ought to be revisited down the line. I agree that "interfering with JS tools" is not on its own a reason to object to userspace content. — Gavia immer (talk) 15:01, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete or Move as it is still a copy of an article in userspace. While it is acceptable to do this temporarily in order to develop the main article without disrupting the encylopedia, there is nothing about the page to suggest that it is only temporary. Perhaps move it to User:Kros209/Sandbox if it really is in userspace for development purposes? - Koweja (talk) 04:40, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

- Nothing about the page that suggests it's temporary? He just changed it today, and appears to change it fairly regularaly, that might indicate it's temporary.--Phoenix-wiki 13:09, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- "While it is acceptable to do this temporarily in order to develop the main article without disrupting the encylopedia" — how is doing this in the long term disruptive?--Phoenix-wiki 13:11, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- Keep User will probably use this as some sort of page for putting changes together, even if it is now transcluded. Look at User:Mercury — that's a sort of "work in progress" page.--Phoenix-wiki 13:05, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- though I would suggest getting rid of that fair use image. Maybe put it in <noinclude> tags in the article?--Phoenix-wiki 13:13, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
