The result of the debate was Delete - User space is not a place to hide something you want on wikipedia that doesn't fit. -Djsasso (talk) 19:40, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] User:CDA/stockarchives
Wikipedia:User_page#Copies_of_other_pages preferred version of deleted content (List of stock photography archives). and disallowed uses of subpages. Hu12 (talk) 20:05, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
- comment - does not fall into the disallowed uses reasons, but then also does not fall into the allowed uses either. This may be a useful resource for the user for wikipedia work. So I am inclined to recommend a keep. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 03:30, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- Pages kept in userspace should not be designed to functionally substitute for articles or Wikipedia space pages. Arguments of WP:USEFUL do not make for exemption of official Wikipedia policy. This conflicts with Wikipedia:User_page#Copies_of_other_pages. "While userpages and subpages can be used as a development ground for generating new content, this space is not intended to indefinitely archive your preferred version of disputed or previously deleted content or indefinitely archive permanent content that is meant to be part of the encyclopedia. In other words, Wikipedia is not a free web host. Private copies of pages that are being used solely for long-term archival purposes may be subject to deletion."--Hu12 (talk) 14:50, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

- Keep There is a substantial possibility this user is using this page to assist with his Wikipedia work. If not, at least the user should be aware of this MfD so that he can move the file elsewhere without having to bother an administrator to recover it. I don't see any sign that the user was notified of this MfD, which strikes me as a tad rude. If it weren't so late, I'd do it myself. Why are we wasting time with this harmless page? --Abd (talk) 03:26, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. A directory page, and NO evidence that this user is using this page to assist with his Wikipedia work. Why are we wasting server space by hosting this linkfarm? --Calton | Talk 03:38, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. PLEASE NOTE: I am keeping this table on my user pages because it was originally on Wikipedia but it doesn't fit because, I think, it is categorized as a "laundry list." I can see how it doesn't fit into Wikipedia but I still use it so I am keeping here. says it all - nothing to do with the project and it seems might have already been deleted as part of an AFD or similar. --Fredrick day 10:22, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
- Keep There is a misunderstanding here. Deletion will not remove the page from the server hence will save no space. If it might be of any use to the project, keep it.--Habashia (talk) 13:55, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
