[edit] Talk:RAW (rolling paper)/Archive1
containes profanity and attacks by a user who admits he works for a competitor of the item being discussed
Please edit the page to Wiki standards OR delete it (your choice guys..)--Put that in your pipe and smoke it 20:46, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- Speedy keep Nothing on there seems inappropriate and definitely nothing seems worthy of deleting the archive totally. Metros 20:49, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- the problem is if I try to remove the profanity and attacks the attacker goes ballistic and puts them all back up (just watch..) --Put that in your pipe and smoke it 20:51, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well that would be because you have no reason to be editing other people's comments. As I told you, Wikipedia is not censored. Profanity is allowed (though editors are reminded to be civil in their comments to each other. Metros 20:52, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

- Speedy keep - Nomination seems to be made in bad faith.--WaltCip 21:12, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- now that I nominated it, the attacker is allowing the necessary changes to happen. If that remains it won't need to be deleted. However when the discussion is closed he might attack again :( --Put that in your pipe and smoke it 21:20, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- Speedy Keep. It's just an archive of past comments. Plenty of pages have them, some even with profanity. It's no big deal. There are no "wikistandards" against profanity. J-ſtanTalkContribs 23:17, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- Speedy keep Actually, we are not censored. We do have policies on pronifty, but it is by no means prohibited. And telling someone not to cuss on a talk page is like the optometrist telling you not to blink. Unless it is a personal attack, just take a deep breath and remind the offender to remain civil and man up.--12 Noon 02:26, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- Speedy Keep Not only a questionable nomination (i.e. nominating a page the nominator has editwarred over) but also Archives are meant as... Archives. Editing to remove alleged attacks is a bad idea. CharonX/talk 02:41, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
- Speedy keep we don't delete archives like that. Hut 8.5 10:28, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
