[edit] Goings on
TKD, do you know what became of the bot archival request for Wikipedia:Goings on? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 16:16, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks, TKD; I may know some editors who might be interested. I'll check around. Regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:01, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
I archived just to see what it was about, but gosh, I don't want to do that every week. I've been putting out feelers about bots, but no takers so far. Can you check my work? SandyGeorgia (Talk) 00:53, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Aldo Finzi edits
Dear TKD, thanks for your help on the Aldo Finzi copy and paste mess I made, and sorry for making that... I'm quite a newbie on wikipedia. I've been reading what I found (not to make any trouble), but there are many pages that repeat information, or are not clear... and that made me stop reading... I've seen in your user page that you believe that it's better to have 2 pages containing all the info, than 10 pages with split info, and I couldn't agree more! for example on the topic of Copyright, there are way too many pages, with partial info, in my humble opinion, which makes it difficult to understand what and where to do what needs to be done...
Anyway, I'm waiting for an e-mail from Aldo Finzi the composer's grandson, alowing me to put some more material on the page Aldo_Finzi_(composer), and wikipedia to store the info under the GNU Free Documentation License... it should include a picture of the composer and a small biography, of which the grandson is the legal owner.
Hope i've not made too many trouble.

Hi, thanks for your note. I didn't realise that my main space edit count was so low! I'm glad you told me though, because I was about to make a bunch more votes, so I won't do that now. Kind regards, Dan Beale-Cocks 17:07, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Cortana
Most of the additions look good, I'll run through it again just to make sure... is there anything else in the Halo Effect that will prove useful to other articles (mostly looking at Halo (series) and that featured topic ;) David Fuchs (talk) 13:13, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- Cool. I'd prolly, ahem, "borrow" it offline in order to source stuff, but Demonoid went away ;) Guess it's up to you (my stupid Halo 3 OST still hasn't arrived, argh!) :) David Fuchs (talk) 13:37, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

Dear TKD,
Thank you for your participation in my request for adminship, which ended successfully with a final tally of (52/10/1). I was impressed by the thoughtful comments on both sides, and the RFA process in general. The extra buttons do look pretty snazzy, but I'll be careful not to overuse them. If you have advice to share or need assistance with anything, feel free to drop me a message or email. Thank you and good day!
Cordially,
— xDanielx T/C\R 06:58, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Credits - This RFA thanks was inspired by Carlosguitar's RFA thanks and LaraLove's RFA thanks, which were both inspired by The Random Editor's RFA thanks, which was in turn inspired by Phaedriel's RFA thanks.

[edit] Big Rigs
Hi TKD,
I'm having trouble on Talk:Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing#A modest proposal (scroll towards bottom of topic) with an IP user who just doesn't seem to grasp that the opinions of a bunch of random people who supposedly worship the game are not as valid (in terms of use as sources for the article) as the opinions of many reliable - and we can only assume, peer reviewed - video game review sites on the 'net. Every noteworthy site that has reviewed this game has rated it as horrible. I'm not familiar enough with the various policy pages to point to a specific thing to say "This is why the 'rigists' opinions don't count"; at least not to this IP user's satisfaction. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this person is one of them, just trying to be annoying. They have a long history of vandalism and trolling in the article and talk page.--Drat (Talk) 01:39, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks!--Drat (Talk) 07:16, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- It seems someone hasn't gotten the message. This appeared a few days ago, but I forgot to mention it. Oh yeah, check this diff for a chuckle (I reverted the attack).--Drat (Talk) 10:18, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Issue with article List of Characters in Red vs. Blue involving Doc's rank
Hey Dac. Listen, I have proof that Doc's rank is Medical Officer, not Medical Super Private First Class. It's the unofficial resource site for Red vs. Blue. Listen, I'm aware that the site is "unofficial," but what it says about Doc's rank is accurate, as it says the same thing on the Season 5 DVD bios. Thanks, Anonomyus. P.S Why would you morons think his rank is Medical Super Private First Class? He was lying to convince Church he was higher ranked! The rank Medical Super Private First Class doesn't exist, idiot!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.108.132.123 (talk) 19:04, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of machinima productions
Looks good! That's okay, re: the terseness. I know the feeling about having less Wikipedia time. Even if I didn't start playing WoW, I've got a drawer full of games waiting for a not-crap computer.--Drat (Talk) 02:07, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Copy-edit?
Hello TKD. I've been having problems at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Super Smash Bros. Melee, mainly relating to the writing style of the article. User: Clyde Miller has directed me to you on my talk page for a possible copy-edit. I feel really audacious asking this, but is there any chance of giving the article a run over and telling me where I'm going wrong; point the article in the right direction? The negative users at FAC have not been helpful. Thanks. Of course, I won't mind if you don't. Ashnard Talk Contribs 10:18, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of The devin page
A tag has been placed on The devin page, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. John Dies at the End has now been published and is now available for purchase at Amazon.com. The rights to the story have also been purchased to make into a movie. I think that we can safely undelete this article.

[edit] machinima list
Hey I have a quick question. I contacted you a long time ago about my machinima production. I was wondering what it would take to get on your list of machinima productions. You can see my video over at Machinima.com under the title 1337 LIFE (or follow this link). It was back in the Halo 2 era, and the quality is sub par, but it's worth a view. Not too many machinima productions like it out there so when you get a chance give it a viewing. thanks, Tmuzzatti (talk) 17:31, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
