Mississippi Valley Conference (Illinois)

The Mississippi Valley Conference is a high school athletic league in the Metro-East region of southwestern Illinois. It has schools from the counties of Jersey, Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair. All of its members are class "AA" in Illinois' two-class and three-class systems and "AAA" in the four-class system.

  • Roxana High School: The Roxana Shells left for the South Central Conference in 1996.
  • East Alton-Wood River High School: The East Alton-Wood River Oilers also left for the South Central Conference in 1996.
  • O'Fallon Township High School: The O'Fallon Panthers left for the South Seven Conference in 1995 before later moving to the Southwestern Conference.
