Misner space is an abstract mathematical spacetime, discovered by Charles Misner of the University of Maryland. It is also known as the Lorentzian orbifold
.
It is sort of like a video game screen where in if one goes out of the scene through the right side he enters the frame again through the left end. If the walls of a room enclosing a Misner space could move maybe time travel would be possible.
