[edit] Jackson's inequality
Hi, I moved all the discussion (with my response) to Talk:Jackson's inequality Best, Sasha 15:54, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Finite difference
You claim that I "reverted your contributions as a whole". Well, here is the diff. I removed the intro, but I kept all the other text you inserted, including all the formulas with higher order differences. So what I had done was merging your text without mentioning that there are two concepts of finite difference.
If you could give that diff a careful read, and then reply here, I would appreciate that. Thanks. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 02:57, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

- Ok, I have to acknowledge — I haven't read that diff carefully since it had word 'revert' in summary.
-
- But that is not correct. Here's again the diff. There is no "revert" word in there. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 14:55, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- I removed all my claims of double reverting from finite difference's talk and your replies to that claims as well. Mir76 17:33, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I agree that my "merging" was not very successful. But at least it removed one big inaccuracy, that there are two different finite differences. More work needs to be done. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 14:55, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, the article in a poor state now. I'll add some new formulas there as a material for further merging. But I'll not merge it — it is too difficult for me :(
- There is another big problem — article difference operator which tries to retell part of finite difference article instead of decribing huge amount of different difference operators used in numerical analysis. Mir76 17:33, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
