Minamibōsō (南房総市 Minamibōsō-shi?) is a city located in Chiba, Japan.

It was formed from the merger on March 20, 2006 of the municipalities of Tomiura, Tomiyama, Miyoshi, Shirahama, Chikura, Maruyama and Wada (all from Awa District).

The Uchibō Line passes through Minamibōsō.
