[edit] Edit warring on Tillamook, Oregon

Hi, please don't add Andrew Kent back to the notable residents section unless he is notable enough to have a Wikipedia article himself. And if he is notable, the article should be written first, then you can add his name back to the Tillamook article. Also, you might not know that we have a rule about edit warring. If you make more than 3 reversions in a 24-hour period you may be blocked. If more than one editor reverts your changes, this is usually because they are trying to make the article follow certain guidelines. Check the page history and edit summaries, and if these don't make it clear why the reversions are happening, rather than revert back, you should start a discussion on the article's talk page. Good luck. Katr67 (talk) 07:06, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Please do not add Andrew Kent back to the Tillamook, Oregon without first establishing his notability. As Katr67 suggests, the best way to do that is to write an article about him. —EncMstr 07:55, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] January 2008

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tillamook, Oregon. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. —EncMstr 07:58, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Blah blah blah! - I do believe I know a bit more about Tillamook then you! /cry
Elitism, that's all this is.

You have been reported here. Aboutmovies (talk) 08:24, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
I agree, you probably do more about Tillamook than I do—and likely the rest of us. No one is disputing that. The point is whether Andrew Kent belongs in an article about Tillamook. Since he doesn't show up associated with Tillamook and doesn't have a Wikipedia article, there are two major strikes against inclusion. —EncMstr 08:54, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked for 8 hours

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule at Tillamook, Oregon. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.
