I added in the Trivia section that when Homer says "You'll see, I'll spearhead the hell out of this expansion bit" that it is an inside joke reffering to Spearhead, the expansion game to Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. If someone thinks they have an idea what this could refer to in addition, or instead of, please post.

The scene where grandpa choses and then watches the soundtrack and video before his death is a spoof of an old sci-fi movie from the 60’s or 70’s, anyone know what the film is?

I noticed two N.oE.S. references in the first act alone: The kids singing Ring around the Rosies when the camera zooms in on the cellar. Also, Freddy Krueger jumps through the map of Springfield during the L.A. promotional video.
