Is the national police a branch of the armed forces? I don't think so... what does the national constitution say about it? Anyone knows? I think that national police shouldn't be mentioned here. -- EvogolTalk 00:34, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

You're right, the Peruvian Constitution on its 165th article mentions that Las Fuerzas Armadas están constituidas por el Ejército, la Marina de Guerra y la Fuerza Aérea (The Armed Forces are constituted by the Army, the Navy and the Air Force). Thus, I'm removing the mention of the Police from this article. --Victor12 00:20, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
