Mill Hill railway station serves the Blackburn suburb of Mill Hill, 2 km (1ΒΌ miles) west of Blackburn railway station. It is a island platformed suburban station managed by Northern Rail.
It has poor disabled access with an entrance down a single flight of stairs from street level. The station has recently had seats installed. From the street level above there are also direct bus services to Blackburn town centre.

Monday to Saturdays, there is an hourly service from Mill Hill towards Preston and Blackpool South, westbound and Blackburn, Burnley Central and Colne, eastbound. There is a two-hourly service in each direction on Sundays.
There is also an early morning service to Morecambe once a day Mondays to Saturdays.
