Mike Peden was a producer of the 2003 album Free Me the second album by former Spice Girl Emma Bunton. He also co-wrote the song "You and I" for Will Young.

He's also a well-known record producer for the Lighthouse Family, and brother to the well-known Everton FC fan Matthew Peden. Has also produced ex-Massive Attack singer Shara Nelson, Brit nominated album "What Silence Knows". Also known for his former band "The Chimes" which had the number one single "Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For".

Mike Peden is a British Producer/Remixer/composer best-known for his work with the Lighthouse Family. He has been behind some of the most successful and inventive dance pop music throughout the 1990s and to the present. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Peden began his career as a bass player and as a member of The Chimes,.
