Michael Jorgensen (born August 16, 1948, Passaic, New Jersey) was a former Major League Baseball player and later, manager. He played First Base for the New York Mets (1968, 1970-71 and 1980-83), Montreal Expos (1972-77), Oakland Athletics (1977),Texas Rangers (1978-79), Atlanta Braves (1983-84) and St. Louis Cardinals (1984-85).

He managed the Cardinals for part of the 1995 season, where he posted a 42-54 win-loss record.

  • He didn't reach the postseason until his final season when he helped the Cardinals win the 1985 NL Pennant.
  • In 1974 he broke the Expos' single season on-base percentage record with .444
