[edit] Career

Although he was primarily a second baseman, he did eventually play every position on the diamond[2], including one game as a pitcher in 1896.[1]

[edit] Post-career

Bill Hallman went on to be a Dutch Comedian in several silent movies. One of his sons (William Hallman Jr.) became a Philadelphia police captain and another (Harry Hallman Sr.) was a champion pool player.[citation needed] He died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was interred at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania.[1]
