José Miguel Organista Simões Aguiar, commonly known as Miguelito (born in Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal on February 4, 1981) is a Portuguese footballer, currently playing for Sporting Braga.
[edit] Club career
While at Rio Ave FC, Miguelito started playing for their youth team, and broke into the first squad aged 18. He was a fan favourite for his fast counterattacks which would leed to crosses and goals.
Transferred to Madeira's CD Nacional in 2002, he was there considered of one the best left wingers in the Portuguese Liga. After an impressive 2005/06 season he was bought by SL Benfica on August 22,[1]and voted best defender of the 2005/06 league by football newspaper Record.
In 2007-08, after having managed just 3 appearances in Portuguese League Cup, Miguelito joined S.C. Braga in January, on loan.[2]
